Hi...
as promissed more finds from the weekend, the first is a hammered coin of Edward1 Canterbury mint belive it or not this was the first signal of the day. A picture of the Celtic Coin cleaned a bit, next we have a broken hammered half penny of David11 of Scotland (ravages of the plough), these finds were from Saturday. Sunday saw us back to the same spot, it was Michaels turn to have the luck in the shape of a Anglo Saxon Silver Sceat (note the Iron build up) my next find is a bit of a whatsit it looks like Gold and has a stamp on the back could be part of a snuff box...pics SS
