I was sampling a new area the day before yesterday. Lots of bedrock. This stuff came from the "wrong" side of the creek as far as the general material deposits. Maybe that's why no one has hit the obvious cracks I did. Color in all of them. I'll be back tomorrow early to beat the heat. Pretty sure I got some platinum it sits just like the gold and hasn't changed color from its little bath I've given....I'm in an area that could produce it....not saying it is but, it's not gold or lead either......more quarts chips with gold too. It looks kinda rusty in the wet pictures you can see it by that picker in the pan.but it's not really red like that...it's not a manganese coating either.. When I confirm I'll post.
