Went back out there today and found another glass coaster(those are not scratches in the middles those are imperfections in the glass), but it does have a few chips , also found a jar seal, piece of coal, jar lid with a patern on it(Anyone Know this pattern?), and some iron thing, o and a arrow electric co lightbulb?.

I remember my gma using those heavy glass thing for putting under sofa legs so they didn't scratch the floor.

I have seen them under the legs of iron beds before..Grandmama used them.

Thanks for the info, i thought they were coasters What would you call tehm then? Antique scratch pads or something?
