slow day hunting, but the weather was nice today lower 80's very little wind. Started off looking in the water, nothing but pulltabs and melted beer cans. Moved up a little on to the shore, started finding coins and then found a class ring, fourth one this spring. I have returned two so far, started working on finding the young man whose name is inside this one, haven't located him yet, will look some more tonight online. Also found a small sterling ring and a toe ring also sterling. Had 37 modern coins, nothing old or gold today. will get out next week, need the water to go back down from all the rain last week, my wife already says she is a lake widow, you can bet as the water goes lower I will be found in the water, 1265 in one hand and a sharpshooter shovel in the other.

Update, recieved call from original owner of the class ring, it will be on its way to him Monday

just got a call from the young man that lost the class ring I found today, it will be in the mail monday on its way back to him. Thats 3 out of 4 that I have found the original owner. Might have found the owner of the 4th one but it didn't have a school name on it, that makes it almost impossible to find them.

That's AWESOME on finding the owner of the ring!
