Went out with "diggervet jr." today and got skunked in a big way. Three hours of hunting netted me two three ringers and my son 16 bullets, a few chunks of melted lead and a first for both of us. A tompion! (used to keep moisture out of the musket barrel while on the march) hoping to get back and hit some areas back in the woods we were unable to get into today.

Great finds I have only one tampion myself. It was apparently forgotten about and fired. The 3-ringer is impaled on it.
