More Cobbs today

Got back out today for awhile after wet and cold couple of weeks. Decided to try looking for another spot across field about 2000 yrds from last Cobb and Cannon ball find. Big fields and a lot of camp lead and bucking balls, a few 75cal round balls, tombac and silver button and these two Cobbs were the last finds before I had to leave. I have posted the cobbs over at the Spanish cobb forum looking for help on Id.

Looking forward to getting back to this site but it looks like more rain coming and spring planting is just around the corner!

Nice site you got there!!! Cobs are pretty darn rare to find in California, but they have been found.
