You have big time hunters in your area, and over in Salinas. I think Salinas has a club and if you use the search term (California metal detecting) in a search engine like yahoo you’ll find a site that lots of duds in your area belong to and I got banned from. But you have nothing to do with that. Fort Ord could be a hot spot if you find the right spot, I was stationed there form 1975 to 1977.
