My paleontologist friend went on a dino hunt on a ranch in Montana. One of the people with him found this nice point while scratching for bones. I'm thinking Dalton.

It could be. I'm not up on western points & just thought it looked like a Dalton. We'll see what others say too. Thanks

Looks similar to a MERSERVE - Plains Paleo. The Plains extension of the Dalton Family.
