Yesterday when i was out to a field i have permission to i seen a farmer harvesting his potato field. I stopped by and asked if i could detect there too. He said "try it, but show me what You've got when you're ready" Next couple of hours i detected his field, not much signals there, but i got some 1700s coins. While i dug a 1733 1/4 Stueber my best Buddy came over to show me his find of the day. A potato roughly 8"... Who has done better now?

These cleaned up well. Most of the coins are scrappies. The small one is the coin from the pic above. 3 Pfennig Soest, around 1740-50 from the design, other is the 1/4 Stueber 1733, minted in Duesseldorf for a duchy named Juelich/Berg that is where i live.... :headbang: Both are hammered coppers as You can see.
