Anybody has been detecting around Monocacy National battlefield?
Of course, it's totally off-limit to detect inside a National park, however, there is a bunch of farms around this battlefield that you can ask permission to hunt without get trouble with the FED.
I checked this Saturday with the Visitor Center of Monocacy Battlfield. I asked if others battles took placed around what today is declared the battlefield region, and they told me YES, but they can't size those properties sdue many reason. So, I assume you can hunt in those private properties if you have the permit to do it without get trouble with the National Park.
Any suggestion?
