What's up y'all... how's everyone doing!!??

Went out with my deus on Monday to a couple of old school/park sites littered in iron and modern trash and semi hot soil

Was able to pull some pretty cool things out of the ground with my beloved deus and the 9 hf round coil...

1923 silver peace dollar!!! (My first dug silver dollar)
1905 v nickel
14k diamond ring
And a cool looking button with a iron back
And what looks like some sort of brooch?? made of lead.. thing weighs 71 grams... hahaha
Not sure what the other item is.. maybe a valve stem cover off of a old Ford or something??

Dug some clad and of course trash and a few square head nails...

Settings 9" round hf coil.
14.4khz
Sens. 90
Full tones
Disc -2.5
Reactivity 3
Silencer -1
Audio response 4
No notch

Also ran my pitch program for awhile which found the gold ring with a chunk of iron right next to it in the hole...!!! Pretty impressive... gotta love the deus!!!

yeah I was surprised to see it at the bottom of my plug!! Was not what i was expecting.. thought maybe a silver Washington quarter or silver ring...

Gotta love the deus!!!

Silver Dollars don't show up very often.
Can you imagine dropping one of those?
Big heavy thing falling out of your pocket and lying there on the ground?
It would show up like a sore thumb !

Hahaha... thank you huntindog... yeah it's a been a good couple of weeks for me and the deus... liking this hf coil at 14khz... seems to work really well in my soil...

Great finds. Experiment with a higher frequency (28.8khz seems to be a sweet spot for the HF coils), you don't lose much depth on high conductors and some mid conductor items really pop out.

Yeah my next hunt I will give 28khz a try.
The place is loaded with iron and trash so maybe it will help me unmask some new targets.
