Monday Nite 5/25 Galveston Hunt

Wow, There were a lot of people in Galveston. Claudia And I didn't get there 7pm and the traffic coming home was allready at a stand still, so we thought surely by 9 pm it would have thinned out. WRONG!!!!!! We left at 9:30pm and got home at 11:30pm, and we live on the south side of Houston. Totally UnBelievable!!!!
Well now for how we did. Claudia borrowed My Step-Dads Ace 250 and she did pretty good for her actual first time hunting. She found (2) Quarters, (1) Dime, (1) Nickel, (4) Bottle Tops, (1) Pull tab, (1) Piece of Foil and (1) Twist Tie. Needless to say she wanted to keep all her finds.
I Found (2) Quarters, (1) Nickel and (5) Pennies. I also found a Belt Buckle that was still attached to the Leather Belt about 1" down in the sand. I wrapped it through the Handle of my shovel but ended up Re-Losing It Somewhere.
There was a very tense Moment for awhile, because after it got dark a Mom and Dad lost A six year old Boy. So the hunt was on by all the Life Guards and anybody that was still there. They finally found him around 9pm over by the inflatable Water Slide.
We couldn't stay as long as we wanted do to work on Tuesday, so we will be going back next Saturday Nite 5/30 at around 6:30pm. Hope to See You There!!!

It took two of us to finally break the Dollar Mark in Coins Found. We are having a blast knowing someday we will find that Awesome Item that will blow our minds. Practice,Practice,Practice!!!

I WAS THERE LOL! Funniest thing too, when my wife and I went to leave the island around 5:30, we forgot to turn on 45 North and had to go all the way to the back of the pack of traffic! we did not get out of Galveston till around 7:30! 2 hours of stand still traffic! It was insane! We had a great time, but detecting only lasted around 45 min for me because the seawall was so stinking congested! It was a beautifu day outside though! Well worth the 6 hour trip to get there! Take it easy!

I don't know yet, I haven't seen my Doctor to get Weighed. Those cheap Home scales can't handle 265lbs, They go "Tilt,Tilt,Tilt" whenever I stand on them to Weigh myself.
