Well it was just too nice this morning to be working. ;D So after about 2 hours I had enough and gave everybody (me, myself & I) the day off with pay. :icon_pirat: I went to an island on the Fox River that I've been to before without any luck, but had it set in my mind that I wouldn't be leaving till I had some silver. First thing I dug had my heart beating as I though it was a half, but no such luck. Turned out to be a Shell Oil Presidents game token from 1968. Seeing George at the bottom of a 8" deep hole sure had me going though... Next was the '34 wheat, and I thought this area was looking promising. About 10' from the wheat came the '64 Rosie in-between a couple roots from a 100 year old tree. The '64 Jeff was next to it, and probably from the same pocket.
Thanks for looking!

Nice finds, John!!!

those shell coins sure sound good and make you think you found a silver half when it comes out of the ground!

HI HO SILVER !!!!!!

Bankers Hours!

Hell, Bankers work longer days than that!!

Congrats on your continued silver inflow! That's a pretty sweet token too... definitely a "nitro" if I ever saw one.

ha ha ,, thats funny Neil, but heck with the silver, when you could be stuck on an island with Ginger and MaryAnn..

Not sure about the value of the silver versus the company of Ginger and, uhh, the blunt granny!
