Well it was just too nice this morning to be working. So after about 2 hours I had enough and gave everybody (me, myself & I) the day off with pay. I went to an island on the Fox River that I've been to before without any luck, but had it set in my mind that I wouldn't be leaving till I had some silver. First thing I dug had my heart beating as I though it was a half, but no such luck. Turned out to be a Shell Oil Presidents game token from 1968. Seeing George at the bottom of a 8" deep hole sure had me going though... Next was the '34 wheat, and I thought this area was looking promising. About 10' from the wheat came the '64 Rosie in-between a couple roots from a 100 year old tree. The '64 Jeff was next to it, and probably from the same pocket.
