I just ran across this and thought I'd throw it out there being I have not seen it mentioned in here.
Is this for real? I've never heard of them.

Moldavite is a natural green tektite glass which fell to earth 14.7 million years ago following a huge meteorite impact in what is now the town of N?rdlingen in Southern Germany. The tremendous heat and force generated by the impact sent molten rock eastwards into the Moldau (Vltava) river area of southern Bohemia, and also into south Moravia. As it fell back through the atmosphere it solidified into the many and varied shapes that we find in moldavite today.

Yes, the moldovite is for real (is sold as meteorite material) they think it is terrestrial material molten from the impact blast of a meteorite.....not the actual meteorite itself. It is sold by the gram (choice pieces can be quite expensive) *it is considered a rare mineral* I have also see incense made of this material :o
