What I have here is either of a old wagon used as a lantern or a vent cap off a house. I dont normally removed artifacts such as this but have reason to believe this is a historical site and soon to be under construction. This was washed out and top of the ground after a heavy rain. It is too good of condition to be as old as I would like to think it is. 20248264_10209414756827523_7871553926166155654_o.jpg

No one? Because of the ss cables I am confused. Maybe I should check to see if they are silver. They used to make things out of silver like horse shoes.

The cables make it look repurposed maybe for an exhaust cover .I couldn't say what it was once upon a time.are there other clues that make you think there's historical significance to your sight.

Cables are more than likely stainless steel. Looks like a chimney/vent cover.

Deffinately a flue cover, not old. I took photo of mine which is not up this summer,(helps to take them off in winter so wood stove draws better)
Anyway tried 3 times to share from my photo gallery to tapatalk and than treasure net but not succeding.
Mine is not old unless you call 35 years old, the cables on yours is a puzzler.

Age is ??. A sheet metal shop will still make you one if needed. The cables are a question.
Kind of over kill for the vent cap.
