So, 3 weeks ago, my friend Harry and I go out to metal detect an old abandoned farm house in Chappel Hill, Tx. We dug a few coins and such but my favorite find of the day was this part to an old Ford Model T Coil Box.....You can see the word Ford just above the line on the bottom....It was buried about 7 inches or so.....The second image is from a 1923 Model T restoration photo....

This is my oldest identifiable find so far....

Yea, I have one of those coils. With a couple of stiff copper wires, you can make a really nice Jacob's Ladder. Some of those things can generate an arc 1-1/2 to 2" long! Nice find you have!
