A couple of hunts over the weekend produced copper, nickel, silver AND gold
Plus, a Timex that wasn't ticking ::) The oldest coins were a 1917-D Lincoln and a 1919-D Buffalo (barely readable).

One of my targets, which I thought was a pop-top, turned out to be part of a gold ring. . . minus the stone and half the band.
My next hunt will be to recover the missing pieces. . . I hope :-\

Thanks for looking!

Awesome job bud!!!!

Was that gold deep? Looks like there was enough of it there to give you a good hit but it looks old!

That's a nice looking old ring, and Merc is gorgeous!

Are you building a little sift box to find the stone?

Glad you got out and had a fun hunt!

There is some gold that you can keep instead of giving it back to the owner...

Years ago I found a 1919D Buff. Looks like it was lost in 1919

What !!!!! " No Cracker Jack Toys" ?

Nice finds Mark!

I knew it was too nice of a weekend for you not to get out. I bought that Pro Pointer on your recommendation and I love it.

Great finds! I don't think that 1917 is an Abe, I think it's a Nick :D wah wah wahhhh... (I'm dodging rubber chickens!)

We have to get out soon, man!

Tim, it was only about 4" down. . . I was digging lots of tabs. . . I'm just glad one was gold.

I think the dirt will be dry by the next I get out there. . . that missing stone should be easier to find. . . I hope :)
