Missouri sales tax reciept token?

Hi everyone!!!! Found this today. Obverse and reverse sides are the same and say missouri sales tax reciept. There is also an outline of the state, with a 1 in the middle of the outline. Might be made out of aluminum. Would anyone have any information or history?
