Missouri--great lead

Take a look at this postcard on ebay of old swimming area. This is the kind of site that can yield amazing stuff. You can enlarge photo. If I were in Missouri, I track this one down. Let me know if anyone does. (Not sure this will still be viewable after six days when auction ends.) You might have to cut and paste two pieces of this long address.

Folks...this old swimmin hole is still being used today. Easy to find...downtown Noel, Mo! Can't miss it.

I do a lot of fishin on the Elk River & have never seen anyone with a detector around the beach.

May well be worth checking out, on summer weekends there are any where from hundreds to thousands of people floating/swimming/drinking in the area. This has been going on since the turn of the century. You'd be quite suprised what we have found in the river just messing around with mask & snorkle. The beers are mighty cold after a weekend at the bottom of the river!

My personal "GOLD" from this place is the Smallmouth bass! They grow plenty big 'round there!

dlester, i hope you get this, I live in s.e.kansas got up this am drove down to noel, but was unable to find this swimming hole. Ask some people they sent me to shady beach, paid them to get in, no luck there. Any help will be appreicated. Thanks greg
