Miscellaneous forts on Nassau Bahamas

Found a a good old read of a servant done of the forts in Nassau, passage had active descriptions on attacks on the forts etc, last chapter had additional forts and batteries, never heard of the west bay battery tho anyone know where “the landing place”would have been? Funny enough the cannons from the blue hill battery are actually in front of the yellow elder elementary school off blue hill road, wouldn’t be surprised if that was the missing gun. The Winton battery is completely overgrown with garbage dumped everywhere, old circular battery area with stone wall surrounded by bush.
