I created my own profile ive been sharing on with my dad but since ive recieved so much attention after finding the 1901s Barber quarter i felt i deserved my own profile. I went back to the same spot where i found the 1901 s Barber and fired the DFX up again.... Only there for about an hour but did find a 1945 merc 8.5" deep..... in hard clay. I left it in the dirt clod so i could get a pic of it...here they are....

Cool photo of a "Merc in the rough"

Keep hunting that place, there's got to be more ;)

I'd have been disappointed, after finding that Barber, that your next silver dime at 8.5" was a 45 Merc. You had to be expecting something older. Still, a nice find.
