I’m new here so be easy lol. I’ve posted this quarter on other chat boards and most say it’s PMD but I feel unless it’s in hand excepting the answer is a little difficult. I figured I’d try here because during my Google search for something like it a pic of someone else’s quarter which is almost identical to my damage except the other op’s was larger. The responses to his post was his quarter was mint damage. I’d like to see what this group of people think this is. I’m still going to have it looked at first hand by someone because as we all know pictures of coins aren’t the best for trying to figure out what is and isn’t mint damage. It would be nice just to have a little more information if someone’s dealt with this before. Mint or post mint damage?

So hard to tell from a picture. Is there any raised edge around the depression? What does the reverse look like?

From what I can see, it looks like there is a lip or rim on the edge of that groove. If so, I say it's PMD.
