MINOR'S HILL: PENNSYLVANIA

The 62nd Regiment of the Pennsylvania volunteers encamped at Minor's Hill, no exact location. They named it Camp Bettie Black and they were there from October 1861 to 10th of March 1862 when they moved to engage the Confederates at Manassas. Good luck.

Re: MINOR'S HILL: PENNSYLVANIA

I haven't got a clue. That's where research, research and more research will pay off. Contact the Geological Survey for a possible location. Has to be near Manassa by 30 to 60 miles. If I gave a exact location, there'd be a 100 relic hunters on the site. I've never been there, I'm in Florida, rewriting my Pennsylvania Fort book and I throw a bone out once in a while. If you are lucky and find it then you'll probably have a virgin site. I want to see photos when you do.
