I cant lie i didn't turn up the gain too much. I had a garage fire. Lost my detecting gear (my backup detector) my oscilloscope, music gear and my finds (arrowheads,coins,bottles). A sad day, but hey my dog survived . Thats good enough for me. That would have been a real tragedy if he didn't. No one can take the memories that I had with them, thats priceless. Im not sure im quiet ready for another detector financially yet. But as l save up some more., I'd definitely be interested. I'd almost pay shipping to see the looks on the the guys faces when I said I turned up the gain, and bang it blew up.

Dang man,so sorry for the gear you lost,but I,m really glad your doggy made it.Last dog I had lived 14 years,she died of old age and I,ve never quite gotten over that.14 years of the truest friend a man could have.

The fire was about 2 months ago. Now for the real tear jerker.. I had to put Bubbas down in sept. He was 15. I will always miss him. He really was my best friend. Its been an event ful summer to say the least. The worst part is all the hobbies I had, MDing and music, were what I used to unwind and relax. Now with all the stress, I really need to unwind. Luckily, I still have an acoustic guitar, to practice my Grady Martin licks. Hey my motto. It can always get worse. Hey I could be in this situation with no arms, it could always get worse. Im thankful for what I have.
