FYI it will work on any Explorer, the Safari and the ETrac, all are part of the "E series", coils and batteries are all compatible.

Thanks for posting that. I had it on the Etrac and it worked great. It would be a good backup coil for someone.

Had one on my Explorer2 and it worked great as well. And WAY lighter than the original Explorer 1050 coil! Nice sharp signals and VERY good depth.
