Has anyone seen something like this I know I haven't.
This came from an old railroad depot site in Florida.
It appears to be a bronze or copper

It's actually a clay marble I thought it was a musket ball too at first.. It just came out of a hole while I was digging a target.. I'll probably go back and sift that area at some point.. That little dude is starting to look silver

Hey Gator,

The sarcophagus may be from one of two Egyptian revival periods, both brought about by historic digs. The first was in the 1870's in the wake of the Suez Canal, and the second followed Howard Carter's unearthing of Tutankhamun in 1922.

It's looking silverish to me, as well…

There are similar, but new, items like it on eBay of King Tut, but I can't see for sure that's who yours is. Anyway, I just had to mention a funny listing I came across while looking: Stated to be Victorian, dated 1890-1910. Which is pretty neat since Tut's tomb was discovered in 1922. Thanks both of you.. If it helps any that section of railroad was completed in 1903 and by the 1930's that small Depot that was only a whistle-stop was no longer in use

Well it's not and I actually thought it was the broken end of a handle to a small spoon or fork at first.. Thanks for your wonderful comment.
I did a lot of work and hiking to dig the small little items that I found that day so I'll appreciate whatever it is that I found

I didn't mean to belittle your finds. They're all interesting....and maybe valuable for all I know. It's just that if I was to buy a souvenir, it would be much bigger than something that size....unless maybe it's a charm for a bracelet. It actually seems a little too BIG for that! Any evidence of an eye or ring at one end?

Nope.
It was probably in a holder of some kind I'm guessing..maybe something that gave some archaeological info or something
I didn't think you were belittling my finds really... just though maybe the comment could have been worded better.
Its all good.

We should get along fine then.. I do it a lot myself the fact that you can't see someones emotion on their face in just typed words does that.
