These I found only a few weeks ago, I immediatly saw they were handpainted, only after researching them at home, I realized they are painted on ivory panels, and date from the second half of the 19th to early 20th century. Unfortunately 2 of the glass covers have been broken, but will easily be replaced. The one with the naked lying Venus (after an original work by Fragonard) is quality wise the best, but I'm in love with al of them.
I was thrilled!
And best part of it, I only had to pay 12 euro for all of them!

Those are really cool!!

those are VERY nice - great score!

They look great! My favourite is the middle one on the bottom row. Nice find!

Which country do you reside in may I ask? And what are some of the more common items you look for and find in that region?

Sweet finds, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Very nice. I like them all.

I've only found one miniature on ivory over here. It was by an American artist named Morton H. Bly. I eventually sold it for a couple hundred dollars. It was a $1 find. Some here may remember it.
