This little bullet has three rings on it? It has a solid bottom.
You all are the experts.
What kinda bullet is this? It was dug out of an old 1850 farm field. Thanks all. HH

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

20th century .32 caliber, maybe. Have you measured it?

Not too old, but a cool find! :icon_thumleft:

There were a few CW pistol bullets that look similar. Especially a .32 Smith and Wesson. Do you have a diameter on it in mm?

As well as .22 caliber, found one of them. Shocked to think of how many I’ve actually thrown away because of the size. Most were oxidized white, and smashed, but found one that was complete, looked completely different than modern .22 so I checked my m&m book, and saw the same one. Just like that Missouri state guard bullet.

Ok all sorry for the delay. Furnace died this week.
So here are some pics of the bullets measurments.
I do believe the Diameter is 3.22 and the length is 4.72.
The base is solid. Looks like maybe that was the sprue.
Thanks for all the comments. If you have any info please let me know. 20200119_140609.webp20200119_140530.webp

Two best guesses .32 Smith & Wesson or .32 Allen lipfire.

25 auto. My friends gramps used to shoot cockroaches with one.

I'd go with the Allen Lipfire Revolver as well.
