Mini Ball

I found this mini ball yesterday while hunting Wilson Park in Fayetteville. I was searching near a grove of trees when I ran into sevral pennies. I have found wheaties in this park so I dig all of those penny signals. I was on my 4th penny when to my surprise, out pops a mini. A friend told me that a civil war battle occured near Dixon St. which is just a few blocks over from this park.

Nice find. I was unaware that fayetteville let us hunt the parks.
Also there were southern cannon batteries on the hill behind the old court house faceing down dixon. from what I have been told the main fighting happened around the DCC building (the old jail that is now the womens prison).
