Brandon Reinhart was cited for dredging in the feather river last summer. The court case starts this Wednesday at 1:30 pm in Quincy, CA and we need to fill the courtroom with concerned miners who want to support Brandon.

James Buchal, the miner's attorney, has taken the case on and is helping Brandon (and the rest of the mining community) by paying for it out of their own pockets. We need miners to both show up and to offer whatever they can afford to help with the court case as it may be pivotal in California mining rights. It is imperative we fill the courtroom with miners (and perhaps have overflow out in the street with miners holding signs). We need to show the officials that the miners care about what is being shoved down our throats.

This is your chance to stand up and be counted. I am one of the founding members of the Western Mining Alliance and I am looking for volunteers to help me call the mining claim owners in the surrounding counties to let them know that they need to stand up and be counted. I have the phone numbers and if you email me @ [email protected] I can give you a list of numbers to call to inform the claim holders that they are needed to show up.

It's short notice, but we were expecting the venue to change and it didn't, so we need to move fast.

If someone were to show up with signs, these are samples of what we would like to see (or along that vein);

Here on the PLP website is the article regarding Brandon's Case:
