Yes, that's what I had in mind.

And AMorgan got it right. Must've been to easy. :)

Next:
Hardness: 2½-3
Metallic lustre

Just for the fun of it, add photos of your identified minerals and let us others guess away. Add a hint/pointer every now and then, if it stocks.
Before adding a new one, do let the previous one get solved first.

Hints:
Hardness: 3
Perfect cleavage

Oh, and you only get the honour of having guessed right.

Good going! Chalcocite is correct.

Next:

Now, I mean the "ball" looking thing. It has a nice purple colour.

Tips:
Common mineral but rarely found in Rhombic dodecahedrons, yes this is one, albeit difficult see on the pic.
Perfect cleavage

Sure is fluorite. :)

So EU how do I know #6 isn't bornite and not chalcocite just based on luster and hardness? An SG couldn't hurt. I mean they are both copper ores Que'No!'

Well, yes. But I thought I'd make it more difficult.

I assume you meant chalcopyrite rather then chalcocite??
The striations on the pic in post #4 also limit possibilities. Chalcopyrite (usually?) doesn't show striations and is harder.
At close examination you might see the monoclinic crystal structure of the chalcocite, to. Which rules out bornite as well as chalcopyrite.

Here is one to keep it going:

Here's the next one then. A massive, heavy piece.

Streak: Black

I'm pretty sure I know what this is but I want to see if someone will have a stab at it.
