MINELAB'S CORPORATE DEC.?

Badger , I saw were you said something about Minelab's new corporate decision. What was that decision?

From a dealer i was told there is a 2 to 4 week back log on Excal2 and the GT but that might be normal ?

iv had my new Excal ll on back order for 3 weeks now and they said it would be a couple more weeks to ship.we will see!

I just called Minelab and was told due to the huge increase in sales on the GT and the Excal 2 its now 4 to 6 weeks wait if ordered today they went from 4 a month ordered to 30 on both i guess its popular plus a few parts makers fell behind on parts worth the wait oh .... i asked about why Minelab does not put a 12 inch coil on the Excal2 i was told that is in the works

Why don't they just install a WOT as this is what most of us want anyway. I am going to order a WOT for my Sov GT soon just because I want one.

I have been using a WOT on both of my Sovereign GTs (one is waterproofed for use in the surf) for over 2 years, they work fantastic, only way I would go back to a stock 10" on my Sov GTsl is if both of my WOT coils and my SEF 15X18 Butterfly coil I have for them all went bad at same time.

I have 2 Excals, one of them has a WOT coil spliced on it and it is now my primary water machine, with my Waterproofed Sov GT with WOT as it's backup, and my other Excal with the stock 10 inch is the back up for the WP Sov GT. I am currently looking for a Sunray S-12 coil for backup Excal with stock coil, if I cant find one I will put a WOT on it as well...
