Just wanted to say thanks to Fossil4Life for giving me some helpful insights and working with me on a detector package deal that should start me off on a good foot as a beginner. Almost bought a minelab gofind but have a transaction in progress for the x-terrra 305 & pro find which after reading the forums/FAQs and Randy Hortons book I'm really glad I waited before pulling the trigger on the gofind. Much gratitude to Fossil and these forums as a whole.

Fossil4Life has been amazing to deal with and went above and beyond with what he gave me as package for beginner MD'er. Also I have to say he shipped SUPER fast and packed things up AMAZINGLY well. Again, much appreciate to Fossil and this forum! Found my first penny within minutes of getting the detector and pin pointer up and running. Pretty much was turn and go. Super excited to do some more serious hunting. However in that short period of time my 6yo daughter got all into the whole process and now I have to figure out a what/how to get a starter detector for her!
