Minelab users: Advice needed for ExII

I now have a job where I am going to have weekends off. That combined with more money, spring coming, and alot of old places to hunt means that I am going to be putting my Explorer II to good use finally....I have had the sucker for over a year and have barely used it.

Please give me any advice concerning its use ... programs..hints...settings...whatever.

The worst thing to do to a Minelab is let it set. It tends to get lonely and won't work right.
Just send it to me and I'll keep it happy until you have time for it and stop neglecting the poor thing.

Well shoot if not then keep me informed on how well it works. I've been wanting to give one a try since I seen the first one.I asked a Whites dealer what he thought of the EX II and he couldn't say anything bad about them all he could do is change the sub.
