Minelab Sovereign Elite or Fisher 1270?

Looking to supplement my detector line up in the very near future. I love my XLT, but want to add either a Fisher or Minelab to my arsenal. What do y'all think. Which would you pick of the two? The both are in my price range, around $600. I am having a hard time deciding.

Lets hear the pros and cons of both detectors, from people who have used them. I don't intend to start a brand war, but truthful information, not hype, is appreciated.
