My girlfriend Holly bought a Minelab 305. The x terra series. And it worked ok for the first week. Then started to act odd. Sputtering. We changes settings, factory resets ext... did all we could. And got really irritated. We are both Minelab users. And live in Oregon. Whites, is just up north of us. We know Whites reputation for their outstanding customer service. But, again. Our preference has been Minelabs. Well. She finally sent in the machine. And it was back in a week and a half. I was shocked.
However. When we took the machine out. Guess what. Nothing had changed....and they said they replaces the board. the coil checked out ok ext. It cost us nothing because it was under warranty.
Im irritated. We gotta send it in again. Love minelab. But, my verdict is. And this is my personal opinion. They didn't fix sh!t. Or even bother to give it a good going over.
I will never buy another Xterra Series. And Holly is now having to borrow a machine just to hunt.
Customer service, and turn around. Was a 10. machine being fixed was a total zero. I dont think they even looked at it.
