Here is your chance to own a top-of-the-line Minelab metal detector WITHOUT paying Minelab prices.
Up for sale is my Minelab Safari. It is the most popular model after the Explorer. It can do anything & everything the Explorer's can do minus all of the complicated bells and whistles. The depth on this unit is unbelievable. I've found dimes at 12 to 14 inches no problem.
It is a turn-on-and-go model that is simple to operate. Don't let that fool you though. It is a high level performance machine - not a toy. Admittedly, it IS going to take some practice learning the tones on this detector. However, that's true for ALL of the Minelab's. Especially if you're coming from a different brand or a one tone detector.
In short, it is a BEAST. Only reason I am selling it is because I am looking for a dedicated beach hunting unit and want to purchase the Excalibur. BTW, this detector CAN be used on the beaches with no problem. You'll even get more depth!!! However, I need something that is submersible, which this unit is not.
The detector is in near perfect condition. Might have a slight scratch or two, but, that's it. I purchased this machine direct from Kellyco roughly (6) months ago. I can even send the warranty card to the purchaser. You'll get the detector in it's original box. Additionally, I'll even throw in a copy of "Mastering the Quattro" by Andy Sabisch. This book was made for Quattro users, but, the Safari's are souped up Quattro's, so, everything in this book applies to this detector. The book itself is PHENOMENAL!!! Matter of fact, I had to search for several months just to find a copy. After reading this book, you'll know this detector inside and out. And how to manage and tame it like a pro.
I am asking $700 total. This will cover all shipping and insurance. I am a bit flexible, however, these machines really hold their value, so, I will NOT entertain any low-ball or insulting offers.
I have been a member of t-net for a while now and the sister White's forum site even longer than that. So, you can expect a smooth transaction.
