hey guys,

im new to gold hunting and iv been doin abit of research on it, and i would just like to know a few questions about the GP3000..
firstly, how deep does the detection range from?
and what radius does the 11" coil cover? just a simple 11"??

also, are there any other devices which i could 'point, press and read' which could tell me if there are any gold nearby?
iv been to http://www.mineoro.com/ but i dunno.. anyone got any comments/experience on it???

thanks guys!

Actually the latest high end Minelab nugget PI is the GP3500. You need to go to one of the nuggethunting or nuggetshooting forums to check out the reviews on the GP3500. As this is a heavy investment($3400) you need to do a lot more research here. There is no deeper detector out there for small metal objects than the GP3000 or GP3500.

We know you are new at this as you asked for advise on a LRL(long range locater). Experienced users just laugh at LRL ads which pick the wallets of the gullible and are worthless. So you have a lot more research to do in the gold hunting area.
