Well, my job in Okinawa is over and I moved back to the USA. Before I left Okinawa though, I sent my Excal in to Minelab and had them scour this machine over. I just got it back from them and here's what they replaced.
New 10" coil and coil cover
New battery cable
I think they replaced all of the control knobs too. They're tighter then they were when I shipped it out to them.
New lower rod and gaskets
Of course they checked everything else out... headphones, pressure test... etc.
You're essentially getting a new machine. Minelab approved. Since I have a spare machine, I'm letting this one go pretty cheap compared to a new one.
You're also getting a brand new stock shaft, the old battery and charger, and I'm throwing in a brand new Alkaline batter pack (not waterproof) for those who like to dry sand hunt without the worry of spending the $ on a rechargeable pack.
All in all, it's a great machine. Factory refurbed to their specs, and completely unused since I got it back.
$1,000 takes it.... Shipping is an additional $40 via USPS Priority mail with insurance. I'll take Paypal Gift, Check, or even a credit card if you pay the 3.5% I get charged on my merchant account.
