Minelab Excalibur II with hip mount, long shaft & reg. shaft.

Minelab Excalibur II. Home made straight shaft and a waist shaft included. Waist shaft is so you can attach the electronics to and it has a strap that goes over your shoulder. Asking $1100.00 plus the ride. Detector was used only a couple times. Not close enough to the beach for me to keep it around.

Would You be interested in a Garrett 2500?, hardly used, I have Etrac and fell in love with it, but I want a water detector and have been looking to find one, they are roughly same price...

Here's some pics. I made the shafts. The long one is the correct ID for the lower shaft so it's not wobbly. One thing I did forget to mention. The last time I used this detector the little plastic fitting that holds the coil seemed to spin a bit in the lower shaft so I wrapped tape around it when I was out there. Not sure if these were glued in? I suppose they are seeing as there isn't any other way it would be held in there. If I was keeping it I would run a plastic bolt and nut through it (kind of a design flaw in my eyes) or just re-glue it.
