20 hrs use . You need more detecting time to find out how great the machine is.
Use coin mode and if the tone isn't loud don't dig and if not sure hit the full screen button and the numbers will go high so don't dig.
Some aluminum might through you off once in awhile. You'll have worse detecting with other machines so down grading would not be a good idea.
You got to be patient and give it time to learn. Coins at 14 inches deep will sound just as loud as the ones on top of the ground.

yeah it is a great machine. so far I've found 7 silver coins and 3 silver jewelry with it. The only reason I'm selling is b/c I got a deal on a CTX that was too good to pass up. It just makes sense with the random summer storms down here in sunny florida. I might just save it as a back up, or if i sell it i might pick up a deus. the whole wireless thing appeals to me.
