Great coil for all situations (except maybe fields) It's the only coil I use on the Equinox!

I only use it in high density areas, like around picnic tables and fire rings. Not enough coverage for me in other areas.

Thinking of getting the Minelab Equinox 6 inch DD Coil Do to bad hands need to lighten it up. would like a 2025 review on its uses.

After a lot of hunting our family farm with the 11 inch coil on the minelab equinox 800 I swapped to the 6 inch and found a hand full of coins missed. Still saving for the 15 inch

The 6 inch coil is in fact a good choice for fields ! Forgive me jose159 but typically when Im hunting in a field its usually because there was a structure at the location a hundred plus yrs before . That being said , it typically means there is a lot of trash underground or a thick iron field - the 6 inch coil is a big help getting through all this Debree .

Makes sense and I agree!
