Spent a day this weekend helping out a pard in his hardrock mine. Told the gold from the mine was free and sizable back in the day. Malone's fault Took a half a bucket of bigger 'pretty' specimens home for the wifeys garden. All I took hit hard on the GB2 and not on the minelab which surprised the guys. And it was rare i got a hit on the gb2. Maybe just junk but the wifey was happy and thats what counts. Obvious of pyrite in the specimens down there but the Gb2 didn't hit on all that showed pyrite. Tons of muck and old channels to explore. Never really spent so much time in a mine actually looking for gold rather than just looking. So tempting to hammer ore out of the support pillars but didn't think that was smart. I will Post more samples from the bucket tomorrow. Here's a few pics.
