Militia button?

Found at a cellar hole in Massachusetts yesterday..wonder if militia button,seen a few versions online with varied descriptions and time periods..Believe back says "RICH QUALITY LONDON".

It says MASSACHUSETTS

Seems to be Albert MS 19. Although my eyes are too poor to read the back mark, it may say rich quality London (MS 19a). As you said it's Masssechusetts and a post revolutionary (1788+), Beautiful button!
