Military Something...

I found this today here in Nova Scotia and I know that it is military related but I do not know the era or how it would have been worn. Any ideas?

I think the thistles are indicative of Nova Scotia in this case...

I wish I was... I'm thinking Scotish...

I thing it's a shoulder badge, a hat badge, a helmet badge or ... kilt or Sash badge.

yep...even though it was found in Nova Scotia I am thinking Scottish as well. I found a huge database of Nova Scotia badges and this was no where to be found...the key is the Rose and Thistles...I'm sure.

agreed... the thistles show up on some Highlander stuff... and some kiltties stuff... no exact match though.
