✅ SOLVED Military Pin?

Found this today, It looks like it could be Military to me but do you folks think? It was dug near Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. There has been a ton of odd items found at the location so I dont know if this is military or civilian. Anyone that can help, I would appreciate it greatly! HH

I have been told from a friend that this is a Knights of Columbus Pin with a Patent Date of 1886 as We stopped using dates on Patents in the early 1900s. If someone can confirm this is what I have please speak up haha! I am now excited but will wait till it is positively Identified as such. The Swords do match the Knights of Columbus on their logo and it has changed and I can't find an example of mine anywhere but the swords match and they use an eagle.

Knights of Columbus, military or not, its a sweet find! I personally would have though military but would rule out KoC though.

Here, in the description they include the patent date, although they misread the 6 as another 8.
