I found this today in a 15 min hunt of a soccer field. This pin has an eagle spreading wings holding arrows and olive branch and above the eagle is what appears to be an artillary shell or rocket( pointing skywards) flanked by a small set of wings. Any idea which branch of military and time period would be appreciated...Thanks in advance and HH y'all.

I apologize for the poor quality pics,,,best i can do with this camera.

I forgot to mention the stamping on the back says "L.S. MEYER INC. NY" and has a copyright symbol.

LS or NS? N. S. Meyers makes a lot of the pins, rank insignia etc for the military. A clearer picture would help a lot. I've looked through CAP, ROTC grade insignia and can't seem to make a match yet. Eagle tells me possibly military related, the shield above the eagle has the shape of a military patch.

Seems to me there was one on here close to that not too long ago, but I dont remember where I saw it. Somebody else might remember. Or maybe Im dreaming it up. I'll look around.

I believe this pin may be Air Force ROTC. Found in a soccer field at a High School that has an Air Force ROTC program. Upon closer examination, the artillery or rocket looking thing may actually be a torch. I cant find a pic online of this pin but I believe this find is almost solved. As far as the stamping on the back, it says "L.S. MEYER" or "I.S. MEYER"(looks like the letter I actually)...NOT "N.S. MEYER" , but I believe it's the same company. I found something on line that stated that the "L" stands for Leavenworth and the "S" stands for Spencer. :dontknow:
