Military pin??

Hit a spot today where there were some barracks and old gun emplacements during WWII, found this pin and am not sure if it may be some type of unit insignia or what not, I also found this 1901 IH alongside of it for size comparison. Anyone recognize or know what this pin may be? Thanks!!
