this is a silver pendant i found which depicts crossed rifles and lightning bolts within a laurel wreath. it looks military but i am not sure what branch. it has a bail at the top and the quality of the piece is a little suspect, so i do not think it is an actual military issue piece, but rather a piece of jewelry copying a military design. the back is stamped "ML." is it a specific branch, or just pseudo-military motifs?
thanks!

hi don,
here is the back.
stamped "ML" and another tiny circular mark--it could be a © or some other kind of logo, it is very tiny.

It is interesting that the rifles appear to be muzzle loaders.

no silver quality marks or hallmarks. the details are not as fine as i would expect on an antique or even vintage military silver piece (look at the somewhat crummy details on the leaves, for example). somehow i feel it is not a very special piece. if that little circle is a © then it is probably 70s or 80s and just a junky pendant.
