Southern California, outside of San Diego

All Treasure Hunting
I've mentioned that this area on the border of Mexico/Campo California has experienced a wealth of battles.
I come across a"wealth"of projectiles. Today , between doctor appointments , I had a growl around 12" .
The area searched , and the closest to my home is 1/4 mile south of Camp Lockett, a camp active before the Spanish American war. This is Today's Find. My best guess is WW-2 GRENADE HANDLES, PULL PINS AND IGNITERS. I found chunks of"Pineapple" around the area. I can imagine the CO ordering a "policing" of the area as , these were in one cache to a depth of 24".
I've got to tell you.....parts of my anatomy were squeez'in as I dug deeper ! Identify age ?.......
